The style, the moves, the buzz! The Adcote 2022 Fashion Show was a triumph for all those involved and a long-awaited event after a gap of two years due to the pandemic.
The annual Adcote Fashion Show is one of the most looked forward to events in our school calendar, so to
have it back in great form was a breath of fresh air!
It was a chance for our students to showcase their textile designs and shine on the catwalk. An enjoyable
time was had by all, for both those involved in the show and for the parents, family members and fellow
students in the audience.
“There was an energetic buzz of excitement from all the girls taking part in the show and enthusiastic
audience participation,” said Textiles teacher and show organiser Miss Warner. “The girls were confident, they looked fabulous in their themed outfits and they were proud to show off their textile works.”
“I am especially proud of those girls who were nervous, but got up and found the resilience to perform,” continued Miss Warner.
“The choreography was outstanding and added vitality to the show. It’s such a joy to see the girls act and perform in this way.”
“I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the student helpers and staff involved in the production of the Adcote 2022 Fashion Show. I am already looking forward to the 2023 Fashion Show!” Headmistress Mrs Browne said: “Crikey me! This week’s Fashion Show was the very embodiment of our CLEAR Learning programme!”
“It was deeply enjoyable to see our young students strutting their stuff on the catwalk, showcasing impressively the clothes and accessories they had made in Art and Textiles. Well done everyone!”
